ROLE DESCRIPTION

Senior Executive, Partnership Operations 
 
We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC team as a Senior Executive, Partnership Operations. In this role your focus will be supporting on operational tasks related to partnership asset delivery and development. Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders, the Partnership Senior Executive will co-ordinate administration across the Partnerships department and facilitate cross-department interaction.  Key to ensuring that adequate due diligence is undertaken for all prospective and current partners, the Senior Executive will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of a partnership. 
 
What will you be doing? 
 

Helping to plan, execute, and review of non-match day events across the Partnerships Team, including but not limited to signing sessions, talent appearances, summits, play-on-pitch, open training and VVIP prospect experiences.  
Supporting the match day Operations Team when required for both men’s and women’s games, ensuring all preparations have been completed by the Partnership Delivery Team for the delivery of match-day rights including fan zone, half time and sponsored game activity.  
Supporting the Partnership Operations team on the planning, operational delivery, and reporting of domestic and international events.  
Working with the match day ticketing and hospitality team to fulfil all Partner contracted and non-contracted requirements when required. 
Working closely with Partnership Delivery Teams to lead, coordinate, and track the delivery of partner branding and other contracted inventory. This includes but is not limited to, communicating deadlines, testing creatives, coordinating time with talent, and managing the timely delivery of all partner branding, (including LED, stadium & training centre branding, and men’s and women’s matchday programmes).   
Reviewing, establishing and improving internal ways of working to ensure the entire Partnerships Team is operating efficiently on a day-to-day basis (this may also include scoping and administering technology solutions).  
Supporting with budget management. 
Project managing internal sales outreach processes, major prospect meetings, partnership renewals and RFPs. 
Using performance-led sales data from our CRM to advise on strategic improvements to the partnership development process.  
Managing and building strong relationships with external suppliers relevant to the partnerships business. 


Be a positive, collaborative, and effective member of the Partnerships Team and build strong working relationship with internal and external stakeholders.  

 
Who are we looking for? 
 
To be successful in this role, you will have a degree in a business-related subject and/or significant experience in a Partnerships or Events role. You will have knowledge of partnerships with an understanding of the commercial sports landscape. You’ll have financial management experience, particularly in budget tracking, reporting and driving efficiencies. You will have competence in using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. You will have experience working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines and prioritising tasks effectively. You’ll have experience handling confidential and sensitive information in a discrete manner. You will have experience working autonomously and unsupervised, demonstrating initiative and proactivity, whilst also being able to follow instructions and providing support to the Partnership Operations management team.  
 
You’ll be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships, both internally and externally. Including having excellent customer service delivery skills. You will be able to showcase your ability to exercise tact and diplomacy in an organisational setting, as well as the ability to provide clear and concise instructions to others. You are adept at finding resolutions to problems, demonstrating confidence and resilience to overcome obstacles to deliver what is required, including the flexibility and ability to adapt. You’ll have a strong focus on accuracy and quality, with excellent attention to detail including having excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will have a ‘can do’ approach and work to exceed expectations, as well as having the ability to effectively negotiate.

This is a full-time permanent role working 35 hours per week. Due to the nature of this role, you will occasionally be required to work weekends. Your main base will be our Liverpool Head Office which is close to local bars, shops and restaurants and has great views over the river Mersey, with the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis. You may be required to travel, sometimes at short notice depending on business demands.
