Role description

Purpose: To develop and increase the Foundation’s whole school offer, widening the Primary and Secondary School engagement across Leeds and surrounding areas. Working closely with the Executive Team to build partnerships at Schools, Multi-Academy Trusts, Local Authorities, and with regional education leads.

Main areas of responsibility:

Increase the Foundation’s profile and reputation within the Primary and Secondary Education Sector to support future growth
To lead on the sales and marketing of the Primary and Secondary Schools programme offers to meet the KPIs set
To research, identify and build highly effective partnerships with new schools across Leeds and surrounding areas

Principal Actions and Accountability:

To be the main point of contact for sales of the Primary and Secondary programme offers
Support the induction of schools new to the Foundation
Develop and leverage strategic partnerships with potential stakeholder organisations, including school leaders for the purpose of sales, recruitment, and long-term growth
Manage relationships with Primary and Secondary schools in line with agreed KPIs and Targets
Plan and deliver events in collaboration with external partners and wider members of the team. These events will be for head teachers, senior school leaders and middle leaders, with the objective to establish and deepen relationships to support meeting recruitment targets
Make successful approaches to target schools, groups and areas
To build and maintain outstanding relationships with new and existing partner schools which result in programme sales and nominations
Track and evaluate the success of different approaches to schools and refine plans accordingly
To be accountable for Primary and Secondary KPIs that are related to growth and expansion of the whole school offer
Create and maintain outstanding relationships with key personal in each School partnership
· Provide regular and relevant high-quality communications to our partner schools on a regular basis

To provide regular, detailed reports and analysis to the Executive Team regarding progress towards KPIs
Create and develop key literature / marketing material that can support new schools with understanding the Primary School offer.
Confidently demonstrate the whole school offer, preparing pitches and proposals to quickly adapt to the needs of Schools, Key Partners and Stakeholders.
To attend monthly programme planning and training sessions to build knowledge, capacity, and capabilities
Adhere to protocols for safe working, data protection and confidentiality requirements, and of course Child Protection and Safeguarding.

Person Specification – Essential Criteria

· Relevant experience of working, developing and managing partnerships, ideally but not exclusively, within the Education sector

· Experience of marketing and sales

· Educated to Degree level or equivalent

· GCSE in Maths and English

· Experience of project management

· Ability to work with and influence key partners from all sectors (Public, Private and Voluntary)

· Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills

· Computer literate in Microsoft Office including Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills for a wide range of settings and contexts

· Proven record of developing and maintaining own performance and accountability to measure and meet KPIs

· Exhibits a passionate interest in and commitment to sports development, young people and supporting people in education

· Outcome oriented and solution focused

· Displays a commitment to reflective practice and continued professional development

· Displays a commitment to a culture of safeguarding to protect children and adults at risk

· Displays a commitment to working positively within a framework which values and celebrates diversity

· Full driving licence and the use of a vehicle

Appointment to this role is subject to a satisfactory advanced DBS Check (with children’s barred list check) and appointment is dependent on clearance and obtaining two suitable references.
