About the role
We’re looking for a talented individual with a passion for academic education and development to manage, coordinate, implement, deliver and review the Academy Education Programme in order that all Academy school age player’s academic education is enhanced and maximised.
You will be supporting the next generation of Newcastle United talent by managing the implementation and review of education programmes process for our young players and supporting the transition of players from their old schools to their new schools.
Collaborating across the Academy Multi Disciplinary Team to coordinate schedules the role will also deliver compensatory classroom sessions and review individual players performance on the school-release programme.
Your impact
You will have significant experience of teaching or working in a school environment with a relevant degree and a teaching qualification (or willingness to engage in a work based qualification).
Communication and engagement with our young players is critical and therefore you will possess excellent verbal, written and listening skills.
Knowledge of safeguarding, welfare and equality principles are essential and understanding of national school curriculum and Premier League Hybrid Development Phase would be highly desirable.
