Location – Stamford Bridge with regular delivery at educational establishments in London &
Hours – 37.5 hours per week (5 of 7 days)

What We’re Looking For:
Chelsea FC are looking for a Schools Education Coordinator (Equality & Diversity) to coordinate and deliver across the breadth of the Schools Education department’s Equality & Diversity education programmes. This will include delivery across a range of established programmes including E&D workshops, targeted female activity, and other identified programmes across the Foundation. The role holder will also work closely with the Senior E&D Officer to ensure implementation of the Premier League Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Standard across the Chelsea FC Foundation.
Brief description and duties:
- Creative mind-set to help design and implement ‘Equality and Diversity Education’
- Understand data security and the effective use of technology within an organisation
- Understanding of interpersonal skills and different forms of communication and
- Understand different learning and behaviour styles
- To plan and deliver engaging activities for children and young people participating in
the Foundation’s Equality & Diversity Education programmes
- To recruit, retain and manage the relationships with schools, educational
establishments and other community settings prior to any programme delivery.
- To communicate with schools and educational settings prior to programme to ensure
retention, commitment, and safeguarding.
- To ensure that all data, monitoring and evaluation is captured and inputted onto the
relevant secure data capture platforms for reporting purposes
- To be a positive role model, creating a safe, positive and fun environment in which to
motivate and encourage children and young people to learn.
- To undertake any other Foundation activities that may be required in addition to the role
- To demonstrate good subject knowledge and provide support to others across the Foundation with developing their own knowledge.
- To develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including schools, colleges,
local authority, voluntary sector organisations and other funders.
- To achieve weekly and monthly targets as set out by the Schools Education Manager.
- To attend regular team and organisation meetings reporting key performance achievements/areas for improvement.
- To demonstrate the ability to drive and innovate new and existing opportunities individually and as part of a dynamic team.
- To demonstrate the ability to work in a confident and flexible manner, and understand the
importance of private and confidential material
- To ensure success stories are captured through working with Chelsea FC
Must Haves/qualified by demonstrable experience to the level required:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the industry sector.
- Experience of working with children & young people in primary and secondary school
- Understanding schools needs and challenges
- Understanding of the needs of groups and participants who will be involved in the
- Knowledge of government agendas related to education and young people
- Ability to use a range of ICT and Multimedia for design and delivery

- Clean Driving Licence
- Emergency Aid and Safeguarding Children Certificates
- Experience of working within a range of educational settings
- Budget management experience
- Knowledge of Charitable Organisations
