Role description
The Soccer Club of Toronto (“Club”) is a registered not-for profit youth soccer club operating in Central
Toronto since 1997. The Club now operates year-round with 2500+ participants annually. SC Toronto is proud
to be an IModel Club (U13-U18). Historically, this 2007 Girls team has qualified for C1 (IModel) in both
competitive seasons.
The Club is currently seeking a U17 Girls Head Coach who will be working alongside the club’s Technical
Director to develop and oversee the implementation of the Club’s LTPD Program, curriculum, SC Toronto
principles of play, and to maximize the experience for players, assistant coaches, and members of the Club.
Responsibilities:
Lead, plan, and coordinate all U17 Girls training sessions and match performances.
Communicate with Technical Director and General Manager.
Create Seasonal Plans for development of players based on the 4-corner approach.
Ability to design, lead and implement training sessions based on the SC Toronto Principles of Play
Communicate with U17 Girls Players/Parents throughout the year.
Provide a written evaluation to each player 2 times per year.
Support all Club Programs, Initiatives, and Core Values.
Attend all Club Educational Events: Classroom and Field.
Attend all meetings with TD and other Age Group Head Coaches
Minimum Hiring Qualifications:
Minimum OSA ‘C’ License or international equivalent (preferred National B)
Understanding the OSA LTPD and how it affects player development planning.
Strong interpersonal, communications (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
Ability to relate to young players.
Minimum of 5 years coaching competitive players.
Ability to work some days, evenings, and weekends.

This is a part time position. Salary will be based on experience - ranging from $6,500-$7,500 per season ($13,000-$15,000 per year). Position is to be filled prior to the upcoming 2023/2024 Indoor Season.
