Chicago Fire Football Club is a Major League Soccer team that was founded in 1997 and is Chicago’s ambassador to the global sport of soccer. The Club recently returned to Soldier Field as well as opened a new 50,000 square foot office in the heart of the city. With tremendous growth and expansion, the Club is laying the foundation for an audacious and ambitious vision that will transform the brand and the success of the Club in the coming years. The 2022 Chicago Fire Summer Internship Program is designed to provide outstanding individuals interested in a career in sports with the opportunity to experience the inner workings of a professional sports team firsthand.
Running from May – August (with flexibility based on schedule), this paid program provides individuals with the opportunity to work on meaningful projects that contribute to the organization's success while developing their personal and business acumen. Those selected will gain invaluable work experience through interesting project assignments, meetings with Club employees across the organization, and various additional events (such as Chicago Fire matches at Soldier Field).Some of the fabulous employee perks the Chicago Fire Football Club Internship Program offers include:

Chicago Fire Football Club is seeking a Sales Marketing Intern to join our team! 
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Assist with the ticket sales and marketing department in cross-promotion, including but not limited to ticket promotions and packages, email marketing, and grassroots marketing events- Participate in community initiatives that include youth soccer, corporate and other outside events as determined by department heads - Collaborate with ticket sales and marketing for a strategy to boost fan engagement - Help build the Club’s brand position in community efforts, including the Fire Pitch and youth soccer areas- Contribute information, edits and research to help develop sales marketing strategies  - Help facilitate mascot appearances for off-site events - Identify potential community networking events and leads for employees to attend - Assist on match day preparation and execution QUALIFICATIONS:- Fully Vaccinated for COVID-19- Valid Driver’s License and access to your own vehicle preferred- Knowledge and interest in sports- Computer proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint- Strong communication and organization skills- Open to learningREQUIREMENTS:- Available 30 hours per week- Live in Chicagoland and be available to be in-office at the Fire’s downtown headquarters- Attend all Chicago Fire home matches (nights and weekend may apply) CFFC is committed to providing equal employment opportunity and maintaining a workplace for employees and applicants for employment that is free from discrimination.   The Company does not discriminate in employment opportunities or practices on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, ancestry, ethnicity, citizenship, age, veteran or military status, disability, sexual orientation, sexual orientation or expression, marital status or any other characteristic protected by law.
