Role description


The Revolution Academy Intern will support the marketing, promotional and event campaigns for the Revolution Academy player development programs. This intern will be provided the opportunity to assist the Revolution Academy program coordinators and managers with a variety of responsibilities including, but not limited to, coaching and evaluating players 6 - 17 years old in the field ranging from developmental to elite. The responsibility of organizing of paperwork, equipment and supplies for camp operations is a critical element of this position. The incumbent will develop a better understanding of all aspects of organizing, fulfillment, and execution for all summer soccer programs.

Duties And Responsibilities
Assisting academy program managers with camp operations including equipment, paperwork, and supplies
Assisting lead coaches at Summer Player Development Programs and Elite Camps through on-field coaching support
Helping develop different marketing and sales aspects of the Revolution Academy through capturing digital content at camps and providing social media story content
Assisting parents and families with summer camp paperwork requirements through a variety of communication correspondence, including e-mail, phone and fax
Assisting Rev Academy partner programs as an evaluator for players at try out days
Special projects as business dictates

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Strong communication & interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills
Results oriented
Ability to multi-task
Ability to work comfortably both independently and in a team environment
Experience with social media platforms preferred
USSF grass roots licensed Coach this can be completed online after offer acceptance in advance of the start date

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to handle or feel
The employee frequently is required to talk or hear
The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

The noise level in the work environment is sometimes loud
