We are looking for an experienced individual to bring their organisation skills and creative flare to champion all aspects of our merchandise and retail operations.
The JobThe Retail Merchandise Manager will be responsible for overseeing the creation and development of club retail ranges, strategies to maximise revenue and enhance brand recognition, management of our warehouse and online store, and fulfilment of online orders.
Furthermore, you will be required to work closely with the Club official kit suppler, PUMA, including approving merchandise range books, ensuring the range meets requirements from a brand and technical perspective, compliance with league regulations, ordering and distribution of all on and off-field kit to the playing squads and support staff.

What Wed Like From You. Minimum 3 years experience in Retail/Merchandise Management (sporting industry preferred, but not essential). Qualification in Retail, Business, Marketing (preferred, not essential if experience equates). Customer Service mindset Exceptional communication and interpersonal skill set Proven capability in sales to achieve budgets, KPI and targets. Strong knowledge of licensing best practices. Experience in staff rostering and management. Excellent organisational and project management skillset. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Proficiency in inventory management systems and point-of-sale software. A flare and eye for design with strong brand alignment. Experience using the Adobe software suite also highly regarded. Reliable, great sense of humour with a strong can-do approach. Proactive and engaging style with the ability to influence others. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, whilst remaining calm under pressure. High work commitment.
Essential Requirements. Full Driver Licence with proficiency in driving manual vehicles. Current Victorian Working With Children Check. National Police Check.

As our Retail Merchandise Manager, you'll need to demonstrate a strong work ethic, outstanding coordination skills and have the ability to positively influence others and remain calm under pressure, whilst resolving problems to meet strict deadlines. The role requires work on and offsite, which may include travel, working outside of office hours and/or weekends.
