Our Organisation

The Football Association [The FA] is the not-for-profit governing body of football in England. It is responsible for promoting and developing every level of the game, from grassroots through to the professional game, and generates significant revenue to support investment into English football each year.

The FA oversees England international teams across men's, women's, youth and disability football, as well as running the National League System and FA Competitions including the Emirates FA Cup, Barclays FA Women's Super League, FA Women's Championship, and Vitality Women's FA Cup, and the world-class facilities of Wembley Stadium and St. George's Park, all with a purpose to Unite the Game and Inspire the Nation.

The Role

Support the Resourcing & Talent team in delivering an effective and expert in-house recruitment service to hiring managers at The FA, as well as an excellent candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

Key Accountabilities

Working closely with the Resourcing & Talent Manager and Resourcing & Talent Business Partner to support the recruitment of permanent, fixed term, temporary and casual vacancies across two sites (Wembley Stadium & St. George's Park), as well as home-based positions.

This includes a variety of coordination and administrative responsibilities throughout the recruitment process including but not limited to recruitment advertising, interview scheduling and other supporting administrative tasks.

An example of some of the core responsibilities are detailed below,
Owning and responding to queries in the careers mailbox
Administering the recruitment applicant tracking system (eArcu) which includes,
vacancy advertising
candidate comms
application screening
interview scheduling
offer management
Producing and owning the required recruitment documentation including role profiles and assessment materials
Attending and coordinating the assessment centre process including venue booking and logistics as well as required documentation and printing required. This will include ad hoc travel when required.
Ensuring Right to Work documentation has been collected and verified in line with government guidelines
Chasing hiring managers and digital filing of interview notes
Raising supplier purchase orders

What we are looking for
Professional experience in a recruitment/HR administration or coordination role
In-house or agency recruitment experience
Experience of influencing, advising and working in partnership with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
Excellent IT skills, including experience of using applicant tracking systems (preferably eArcu) & Microsoft 365
Ability to work efficiently and effectively under time pressure
A high level of attention to detail and conscientious attitude to delivering an excellent service
Ability to work autonomously post appropriate guidance and/or instruction
Execute additional tasks as required in order to meet FA Group changing priorities.
Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of health, safety and wellbeing can be maintained.

Please be aware that unless you are on a homebased contract, your contract with The FA will specify a fixed location of either Wembley Stadium, St. George's Park or our Processing Centre.

We currently work within a hybrid working model whereby the expectation is to work from your contractual location for part of the week, and as and when required by the team. The remaining days can be worked remotely. We will continue to monitor this model and it may be adjusted in future if deemed necessary.
