ROLE DESCRIPTION
Reports to: Reserve Team Manager
Location: East London
Time: Tuesday & Wednesday evenings (training), Sunday afternoons (matches)
London Seaward Football Club (LSFC) is an independent women’s football club playing in the FA Women’s National League (fourth tier of the pyramid). We pride ourselves on being an inclusive and diverse club, with players and volunteers from a wide range of backgrounds.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and ambitious coach to work with our reserve team at training and on matchdays. The team compete in the FA Women’s National League Reserve League (South East & Central Division).
You’ll have the opportunity to work as part of a strong, dedicated and hard-working coaching team with plenty of opportunity for personal growth and self-development.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Planning and delivery of high-quality practices individually and in collaboration with other coaching staff
Execution of matchday roles (as assigned by Reserve Team Manager)
Maintenance and upkeep of club kit and equipment (provided)
Development of our promising young talent into first team players of the future!
Attendance at staff/coaching meetings (ad-hoc basis)
Minimum Requirements:
FA Level 1 Award / UEFA C
Proven previous coaching experience
FA Safeguarding Certificate (or willing to undertake)
FA Emergency First Aid (or willing to undertake)
Enhanced DBS check (or willing to undertake)
Personal Qualities:
An approachable manner towards players of varying age/experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
A passion for improving players and championing development both on the pitch and off it as athletes and people!
