Moon Intelligence are looking for a research analyst with huge passion for the Russian Premier League to join our team.
We are looking for an analyst with exceptional knowledge of the Russian Premier League teams, players, tactics and league specific intricacies.
About the Russian Premier League Research Analyst role
The role involves:
Producing previews for all matches in Russian Premier League (including domestic cup games which involve Premier League v Premier League sides and UEFA competitions) to our set template. Previews are to be published by 8 AM (UK time) on the day of the games. The analyst is expected to research and provide information such expected line-ups, key player information and team approaches. If key information comes out after the previews are published, the analyst is expected to provide updates.
Confirming line-ups. Once the starting 11s are announced for all matches, the analyst is expected to confirm any changes from their predicted 11s and if they expect anything different from their previews.
Providing xG in-play data. During the games, the analyst is expected to watch and collect xG data for the first half of games in Russian Premier League (max 2 games at a time). Training will be provided.
Working weekends and evenings is essential to the nature of the Russian Premier League fixture calendar
The role can be home based
The role will be as a consultant. Up to 55 USD per game (for preview, confirming the line-up (usually one hour before kick-off) and in-play first half xG data)
We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. The information collected and provided is crucial to our clients so needs to be to a very high standard.
We want someone who is extremely knowledgeable about Russian Premier League and Russian football from knowing how Krasnodar approach games to knowing the usual starting 11 from Dynamo Moscow.
The ideal candidate will have:
Excellent communication skills. To be fluent in Russian and high level of English
Previous experience covering Russian Premier League (highly desirable, but not essential)
High motivation and enthusiasm to watch games and continue to improve knowledge of Russian football
Exceptional attention to detail
Knowledge of xG (Expected Goals)
