To help us deliver on our ambitious plans we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Condition Coach to support our Head Physiotherapist in delivering best practice rehabilitation services to First Team players at Newcastle United.
Joining a team where player care is at the forefront of everything they do, you will be an engaging and empathetic sport science professional with significant experience of pitch-based rehab delivery in first team football gained through working in a similar role in a first team footballing environment.
You will be passionate about developing strong relationships through collaboration with our integrated and progressive multi-disciplinary team including physiotherapists, sport scientists and conditioning coaches in order to optimise player physical development, performance and agility.
You will have a proven track record of employing an evidence-based practise approach to rehabilitation, aligned with objective return to play markers following standardised RTP pathways for key injuries. This will be achieved by planning and delivering early to end stage physical, technical conditioning sessions in conjunction with all members of the multi-disciplinary team.
Significant experience of using GPS with appropriate loading progressions for RTP in a first team football environment is essential, as is an MSc Sport Science or relevant degree topic, or equivalent experience.
The possession of an FA Level 2 (or above) Coaching certificate and Strength and Conditioning accreditation are highly desirable but not essential.
