The Pays de la Loire Football League (180,000 Licensees – 780 clubs) has as priority areas the organization of competitions, events, technical training (for club educators, referees and managers), refereeing ( detection, training and promotion), a regional path of excellence (Pôle Espoirs Fédéral, School Sports Sections), the development of new practices and support for clubs.
Job Description
The League is recruiting a Regional Technical Director (F/M). Placed under the authority of the President of the League, the General Director of the League, and the National Technical Director, he/she will be responsible for coordinating and leading regional missions in conjunction with the districts of the league.
The position, on a permanent contract, is to be filled by September 2, 2024 at the latest. It will be based in Saint-Sébastien sur Loire (44). Without prejudice, the League and its Regional Sports Center are in the process of moving to Vallet (44) by 2026/2027.

Required profile
POSITION PROFILE – MISSIONS
Manage the regional sporting, technical and educational project in connection with the regional plans of the DTN.
Manage the Regional Technical Team: organize, lead (meetings, training courses). Participate in the recruitment of Technical Advisors. Distribute their missions and participate in evaluation interviews and continuing professional training proposals
Ensure monitoring of the budget of the Regional Technical Team
Ensure the advisory mission to elected officials of the league and districts
Attend and participate in meetings of the regional league steering committee, as well as its General Assembly
Participate in all actions linked to institutional partners (regional objectives agreement, institutional files: MSJOP, DRAJES, National Education, etc.)
Chair examination boards and participate in training sessions
Participate in monitoring the status of educators
Participate and supervise national training sessions and juries
Participate in the supervision of regional selections
Coordinate the operation of the center in conjunction with the DTN
Observe matches (youth & seniors)
Support clubs in their structuring
Collaborate with the Club Support Service on employment-related missions
Be in permanent contact with the DTN and participate in working groups (national or even international missions)
Participate in the construction and management of regional technical and sports commissions
SKILLS AND PREREQUISITES
PREREQUISITES
Hold the DES
In-depth knowledge of the football environment (organizational and institutional)
Experience in Training and Management
Holder of the B permit
EXPERTISE
Football coaching experience in a regional level club at least
Project management and monitoring
Ability to define and formalize processes
Involvement in technical actions
Communication techniques and processes
Capacity for analysis and expertise
Practice and mastery of computer tools
