The purpose of this role is to coach players within our Regional Talent Club (Girls Academy). The role involves preparation, delivery and reflection of training sessions and fixtures alongside effectively leading the development of an assistant coach within the specified age group. The role involves the completion and delivery of player assessment and feedback processes whilst working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Accountabilities with Key Outcomes:
To prepare, deliver and reflect on training sessions and fixtures.
Responsible for implementing club methodology within our player development programme.
Completion and delivery of club player assessment and feedback processes to monitor player progression.
Be present at all team training sessions and fixtures.
Attend all Regional Talent Club (Girls Academy) staff learning events.
Work collaboratively with an assistant coach, GK coach and multidisciplinary team.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Minimum FA level 2 Coaching Certificate in Football
Current FA Safeguarding Certificate
Emergency Aid Certificate
Experience of working with children and young people
Experience of planning and delivering high quality challenging and supportive coaching sessions
Knowledge of the girl’s and women’s game
Passionate about youth player development
High level of organisational skills
Excellent communication skills

Resilient and adaptable to change
FA level 3 / UEFA B License in Coaching Football
Experience of coaching in elite youth player development environments
