In this role you will deliver practical football sessions in line with the Football Association’s Girls Football Regional Talent Club technical programme and provide high quality coaching and support for our U15 players. You will be required to implement a training and games programme in line with Long Term Player Development guidelines, support other coaches and staff as appropriate and look after the welfare of players within their designated age group.
The successful candidate must be FA Licensed, hold a FA Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Football, and have or be willing to work towards an FA recognised First Aid Qualification and successfully complete an FA DBS. It is essential that you have a knowledge and understanding of child protection issues, including holding or being able to work towards a current FA Safeguarding Children Workshop Certificate. You will be required to work evenings and weekends and attend training events when required.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the training and provision and match day responsibilities. This role reports to the RTC Technical Director within the Teesside Sport team.
The position we are filling is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and a satisfactory DBS disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service is required as part of our clearance procedures.
