The coordinator will implement the sales plan of all community focused events including Galaxy Camps, Clinics, and Tournaments in Orange County. They will also find new opportunities for the LA Galaxy to become the preeminent purveyor of soccer in the Southern California landscape. *In order to be considered for this role after clicking "apply now" above and being redirected, you must fully complete the application process on the follow-up screen.*Essential Functions
Supports Programming team with the development of new soccer programming throughout Southern California, targeting Orange County.
Responsible for the sales and execution of programs and events for the Programming Department.
Execute strategies that seek brand and revenue growth across Programming through outbound efforts.
Facilitate communication and act as a liaison to external community partners
Connect and work with various youth soccer partners to sell/promote Galaxy Camps, Clinics, Tours, Tournaments and Galaxy II tryouts when applicable.
Work in partnership with all departments as needed to ensure effective and well-run events, including but not limited to Galaxy Camps, Clinics, Tours and Tournaments.
Assist with planning and executing marketing, including social media, mass email, signage, etc.
Coordinate and direct incoming department inquiry calls, general information calls and internal department requests on behalf of the Programming Department.
Accountable for the interviewing and hiring process for regional coaches while continuing to evaluate and educate current coaches on staff.
Creates applicable curriculum that will be delivered and executed by part time coaches.
Promote positive guest relations, making every effort to accommodate any guest’s reasonable request with the highest standards of courtesy, respect, and efficiency.
Strong ability to take direction and coordinate events and logistics around Programming events.
Other related duties as assigned.
A minimum of 2 years of related sales and implementation of youth programs experience
Expertise in Southern California soccer community required.
Youth soccer coaching experience suggested.
