We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate ED&I Delivery Manager to join our Football Operations department. The role will work alongside our Refereeing teams to deliver projects & initiatives to promote and increase equality, inclusivity & diversity within Refereeing. Our successful candidate must have excellent understanding of EDI issues, including knowledge of relevant legislation.
Lead and support the Heads of Refereeing and National Referee Managers on delivery of ED&I projects and referee initiatives.
Support the development and implementation of EDI policies, procedures, and best practice to improve outcomes for the Referee workforce, stakeholders, communities and support groups.
Design, market, implement and deliver a recruitment strategy for referees from all under-represented groups.
Develop a framework to support the retention of referees from under-represented groups across all protected characteristics.
Work alongside the PGMOL to support the identification of referees with potential from under-represented groups.
Operate as the Refereeing department representative on the National Game REFA Group.
Work alongside the department's EDI Special Advisor and in conjunction with the FA's Equality and Diversity objectives.
Attend, lead and/or develop local, regional, and national meetings relating to the EDI agenda, networking and engaging appropriately with stakeholder groups.
Liaise and collaborate with partners to support the ongoing development of progressive policies and initiatives to continue the diversification of refereeing.
Oversee the promotion and communication of Refereeing ED&I stories, projects, and initiatives to the wider game.
Collaborate with County FAs to provide support and guidance to Referee Development Officers to help embed ED&I into their work.
Provide guidance and advice on ED&I matters to the Heads of Refereeing.
Execute additional tasks as required in order to meet FA Group changing priorities.
Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of health, safety and wellbeing can be maintained.
What we are looking for?

Advanced Microsoft Office using Power-point, Word and Excel.
Knowledge of non-league and grassroots football,
Strong knowledge of English geography,
Understanding of refereeing structures.
Experience working with community networks and relationships with organisations that are working with underrepresented groups,
Experience of refereeing and/or dealing with referees,
Experience dealing with professional and semi-professional football clubs.
Experience of data analysis,
Advanced Excel skills,
Ability to analyse data to establish outcomes and conclusions.
