Our Organisation

The Football Association [The FA] is the not-for-profit governing body of football in England. It is responsible for promoting and developing every level of the game, from grassroots through to the professional game, and generates significant revenue to support investment into English football each year.
The FA oversees England international teams acrossmen's, women's, youth and disability football, as well as running the National League System and FA Competitions including the Emirates FA Cup, Barclays FA Women's Super League, FAWomen's Championship, and Vitality Women's FA Cup, and the world-class facilities of Wembley Stadium and St. George's Park,all with a purpose to Unite the Game and Inspire the Nation.

The Role

Supporting the Wembley National Stadium Property Team with administration and coordination tasks, the successful role holder will play a key part in ensuring successful project delivery and team organisation.

Key Accountabilities

Draft and coordinate all internal team communications and updates
Support the team in office space planning/mapping and attainment of office/job specific resources, contractor hot-desking and IT needs for the team
Work closely with facilities team to arrange any office/desk moves – both temporary and permanent
Liaison with the IT Department to co-ordinate all IT needs for the team
Liaising with contractors – booking in deliveries, staff, vehicles, parking etc
Supporting the IR35 process for consultants operating through PSC's
Support the team in the administration of the wider department – booking meetings, document support etc
Scheduling and administration of stakeholder meetings/workshops
Develop a sound understanding of property team/project management tools (Proactis, Smartsheet etc) and support the team with raising of PO's and maintaining central project documentation and directories
Assist with new starter on-boarding, access, log-in and navigation support with our PM programs (smartsheet, my-view, folder directories etc)
Update and maintain central department templates, policies/procedures
Coordinate the team to ensure timely receipt of central deliverables (weekly reports, governance and approval schedules and business case submissions)
Other ad-hoc support and administration as required
Assist and support project team, as directed, on specific/discrete projects, for successful delivery
Lead the end to end delivery of small, discrete projects, as required.
Executes additional tasks as required to meet FA Group changing priorities.
Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of health, safety and wellbeing can be maintained.

What we are looking for


Excellent administration and organisational skills with experience of providing administrative support to multiple team members
Advanced Microsoft IT skills including Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Microsoft Project
Good communication skills with helpful, willing and “can do” attitude
High attention to detail


Project and programme management experience – experience of taking ownership of small projects and seeing them through to completion

Please be aware that unless you are on ahomebased contract, your contract with The FA will specify a fixed location of either Wembley Stadium, St. George's Park or our Processing Centre.
We currently work within a hybrid working model whereby the expectation is to work from your contractual location for part of the week, and as and when required by the team. The remaining days can be worked remotely. We will continue to monitor this model and it may be adjusted in future if deemed necessary.
