The Swedish Football Association is Sweden's largest specialist sports association with almost 3,000 member associations. These together have approximately 1,000,000 members, of which approximately 500,000 are active players. The Swedish Football Association has 200 employees who sit in new premises next to the National Arena Friends Arena in Arenastaden, Solna. The Swedish Football Association, which is a non-profit association, together with its companies, has an annual turnover of approximately SEK 700 million. For further information about SvFF's activities, please refer to www.svenskfotboll.se .
Swedish Football today sees a development in society where people end up on the sidelines, where individuals do not have the same opportunities as others and thus come further and further from the labor market and education. Many individuals – young and old – who are far from employment also have little chance of changing their situation. Swedish football wants to be a fellow player and, together with other stakeholders, increase opportunities for employment in the form of work, education or for individuals to approach the labor market.
Now the Swedish Football Association is looking for a project economist/administrator for our EU project Reboot - football for jobs, an employment project to get more individuals who are far from work or education back into employment. The project is ongoing and is conducted in Gothenburg and Umeå in collaboration with our football districts, associations, businesses and the respective municipality. The project includes employees at national and local level.
Job description:
As a Project Economist/Administrator, you will participate in the planning of various activities in the project and be responsible for ongoing administration, documentation and reporting according to the ESF Council's requirements. You work closely with the project manager, and the football district's finance function, and report continuously to the project's steering group.
Your duties include, among other things:
Responsible for various purchases and orders of goods and services for the project's various activities
Financial follow-up of the project
Time reporting and invoice management
Responsibility for the financial reporting towards the ESF Council
Your tasks may also be updated and supplemented during the project period.
Are you who we are looking for?
We are looking for someone with experience in project administration. We assume that you have relevant education at post-secondary level and a few years of work experience in finance/administration. As a person, you are structured, meticulous and responsible. You are independent, service-oriented and find it easy to cooperate with other people. You have a methodical way of working and don't miss any deadlines.
Within SvFF, we strive for diversity in an organization with an even gender balance and employees who have different backgrounds and experiences.
