ROLE DESCRIPTION
About the job
Bloomsbury Football Foundation is changing the game, and we need great people to help us on our journey!
In late 2023, Bloomsbury Football Foundation published its new 5-year game plan with the goal of providing high quality, football provision for 20,000 young people every week.
A fundamental part of this game plan lies in Bloomsbury Football Communities. Bloomsbury Football Communities are full-scale community projects that place local roots at the heart of our approach. Communities are a hyper-localised approach to football provision – they remove locations as a barrier to accessing the benefits of regular football sessions. Bloomsbury Communities are a community-led, place-based solution for high-quality, inclusive football, encouraging young people to get on the pitch and be more active. Each community will have a wide range of provision including regular extra-curricular football sessions for young people aged 3-16, school provision, open sessions and a holiday camp.
As a Region Lead, the successful candidate will be responsible for the management, direction and growth of their region, with each region having 1-4 localised ‘Communities’ by 2028. This role will be off-pitch and there will be no requirement to coach.
