ROLE DESCRIPTION

 It is the desire of the Dakota Aliance Soccer Club to hire two (2) Professional Youth Staff Coaches to round out our team. DASC is a 501c3 whose mission is to provide Sioux Falls and surrounding communities fun, quality soccer experiences with opportunities to improve through various developmental programs.  
The two hires will be responsible for a Key Responsibility Area (KRA I) in addition to coaching a competitive team or possibly two teams (KRA II). The two Key Responsibility Areas would be 1) Youth Development Director and 2) Assistant Tournament Director / Assistant Adult League Director. 
Professional Coach #1 = Youth Development Director 
KRA I: DASC Youth Development Director - Overall responsibility for entire Youth Development Academy. 
CT I: Coordinate the operation and management of Youth Development Academy. 
CT II: Create quality training sessions that are conducive for individual player development  
CT III: Creating events for participants to simulate real game experiences 
CT IV: Track participation and stimulate growth of the Youth Development Academy 
CT V: Recruit and mentor coaches and assistant coaches for the program. 
KRA II: Coaching-Responsible for executing DASC branded programs representing the goals of the organization regarding coaching, training and management  
CT I: Perform all duties as a full-time head coach for teams from a minimum of 1 Competitive Age Group (Minimum of 2 teams total). This includes bi-annual evaluations, creating quality training sessions, player development goals, cross training, guest playing and playing up options. This may increase to 2 age groups with acquisition of additional licensure. 
CT II: Manage any personnel who are involved in assisting you with coaching teams. This includes Assistant Coaches, Team Managers, Treasurers any other volunteer position.  
KRA III: Other duties as assigned 
CT I: There may be other duties that need to be performed to assist in the running of Dakota Alliance Soccer Club. These duties may involve preparing fields for play, running additional training sessions for coaches, helping winterize the DASC Training Grounds, and attending staff meetings.  
 
Professional Coach #2 = Assistant Tournament Director and Assistant Adult League 
KRA I: DASC Assistant Tournament Director / Assistant Adult League Director – Overall responsibility is to assist the Tournament Director and Adult League Director with the operation and management of the DASC Tournament Series and Adult Soccer Leagues 
CT I:  Assist in the Preparation of budgets and monthly reports for each tournament and league 
CT II: Assist in the Facilitation of all associated partners (Parks and Rec, Sponsors, Contracted Referee Assigners, etc.) to ensure tournaments and leagues are run smoothly  
CT III: Assist in the organization of the volunteer base, tournament committee, and adult committee with the assistance of the tournament director, tournament committee, and adult committee. 
CT IV: Assist in organizing all logistics associated with all DASC tournaments and leagues to include DASC Ohayon Invitational, DASC Winter Games (Boys, Girls, and Junior) and DASC Fall Kick Off. 
KRA II: Coaching-Responsible for executing DASC branded programs representing the goals of the organization regarding coaching, training and management

Compensation package: 

Salary commensurate with experience 
You will be paid as a salaried employee. You will be paid in biweekly installments.  
Paid Cell phone (Verizon, unlimited minutes, texts, data).  
Coaching Gear and Attire.

Direct Reports: 

You will report directly to the Director of Soccer Operations and Director of Business Operations. 

Employment at Will: 

Dakota Alliance Soccer Club is “at will” and may be terminated by you or Dakota Alliance Soccer Club at any time and for any or no reason, with or without cause and without previous notice. 

Additional Considerations: 

Employee Coaching Education stipends will be awarded to fund additional opportunities for further education. 
Coaching Gear and Attire will be provided to the employee. 
Office space and supplies will be provided for the employee to effectively perform their duties and responsibilities. 
When coaching teams, all per diem, mileage, and lodging will be paid for by the teams at no expense to the employee. 
Offer is contingent on the employee passing background check.
