Football Australia (FA) is the national governing body for football in Australia, situated on the lands of the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, this Sydney-based role is responsible for the:

Drafting coordinating, and managing procurement tenders
Drafting evaluation process and scorecards
Supporting the Procurement Manager in streamlining processes and reducing costs
Assisting with supplier consolidation and review purchase orders (PO) in the financial system Concur

Duties & Responsibilities:

End to management of tender process and protocols
Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers
Support and guide internal stakeholders in the procurement tender process
Scorecard and co-ordination of evaluation process
Assist in the reconciliation and documentation required for all FIFA projects
Assist Procurement Manager in “whole of game” activities
Assist in the preparation of procurement approval documentation including approvals to approach the market and evaluation outcomes
Provide advice and support to the line manager, including identifying opportunities to improve procurement outcomes, efficiency, and value for money

Experience and skills required:

Tender procurement experience
Demonstrated experience in drafting and managing comprehensive tender processes and policies
Demonstrated experience in contract management including the ability to negotiate, establish, and administer contracts
Experience in implementing end to end tender processes
Proficient in reporting, analytics, systems and process management within Microsoft 365, particularly MS excel for drafting scorecards
Highly developed and effective interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
Proactive and results orientated
Accurate and precise attention to detail
Full working rights within Australia
Some after hours work may be required during peak periods
