Contract: Full Time, 37.5 hours a week
Location: The City Ground, Nottingham, NG2 5FJ 
Working Arrangements: On site

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with the Head of Procurement and Estates to execute and implement procurement strategies aligned with the club's goals and financial objectives.
Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
Sourcing and purchasing a diverse range of products and services for the club and to achieve quality, delivery and cost targets through effective supplier management.
Onboarding of new vendors, assessing their suitability and compliance to be a supplier to the club.
Analyse spend data and identify areas of cost reduction.
Review and analyse requisitions from various departments, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements specific to the club's needs.
Coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders, including different departments within the club, to gather specific requirements and specifications for goods and services.
Monitor supplier performance closely, addressing any issues or concerns promptly to maintain the highest standards for the club.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project procurement needs and deadlines within the club.
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact procurement activities for the club.
Assist in the development and maintenance of strong supplier relationships to optimise the club's supply chain.


Skills, Experience and Knowledge:

Ideally qualified to at least CIPS Level 4.
Proven experience in procurement or a related role.
Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to assess supplier capabilities and negotiate favourable terms specific to the club's needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders, including different departments within the club, and suppliers.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic club environment.
Proficient in using procurement software and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
