Leicester City in the Community has two fantastic opportunities for Primary Stars Coaches to join our dynamic team.
About The Role
With support from the Premier League and Leicester City Football Club, Primary Stars inspires children to learn, be active and develop important life skills.
Available to primary schools across Leicester and Leicestershire, the Premier League Community Fund programme delivers both curriculum and extra-curricular activities, that aim to positively engage and raise young aspirations of children aged 5 to 11 years in the classroom, playground and on the sports field.
Using a range of innovative interventions, Primary Stars Coaches work within schools to help young children to reach their full potential and offer continued professional development for class teachers.
The successful candidate will deliver high quality schools offer to include curriculum P.E. delivery, extra-curricular football sessions, targeted interventions and education activations that meet the needs of the partner schools.

Skills required for success:
-Experience of creating strong and appropriate relationships, with internal and external partners.
-Able to encourage, motivate and enthuse young people to participate, promoting positive attitudes towards education.
-Ability to work on own initiative, providing alternative learning opportunities for young people.
Essential requirements:
-You will hold a Level 2 National Governing Body or UKCC Sports Coaching qualification
-Educated to degree level in a relevant subject area. BTEC/NVQ level 3/A Levels accepted.
-Experience working within an educational setting
-Must satisfy relevant pre-employment checks including enhanced DBS check
-Ability to travel regularly across multiple sites
Contract Type 12 month fixed term contractHours Per Week37.5, You will be required to work outside of normal office hours, at evenings and weekends.
