Role description

This is an exciting time at Newcastle United as we look for talented individuals to help us on our journey. To help us deliver on our ambitious plans we have a fantastic opportunity for experienced Positional Analyst’s to join our recruitment team.
You will provide video analysis and occasional live game analysis for potential target players focusing on specific positions, for emerging talent and first team players for future transfer activity. Working closely with the data team, Lead Video Analyst and Head of Technical Scouting, you’ll produce daily reports and evidence-based clips in line with the Recruitment strategy.
You will identify new potential target players, using expert knowledge and any available data, to ensure information is relayed quickly and key talent target players are placed into a dynamic workflow within the department.
You will have a good knowledge of football with regards to game models, playing styles and profiles of technical, tactical, physical and psychological traits, with experience of using various video software platforms.   You will have a good understanding of player potential and performance of a football player, including with young emerging talent players.
Due to the nature of the role, there may be unsocial hours of working to meet the demands of the business.
