Player Partnerships Manager What You DoIn this newly formed role you are responsible for corporate sponsorship sales & activation specifically for our Washington Spirit players. We want to ensure that the Spirit organization is providing as many revenue opportunities for our players as possible. These deals are new deals outside of our salary cap and are not necessarily team sponsors. You will be working with regional corporations who want to work with Washington Spirit players to help their own marketing efforts. You are a driven corporate sales manager who has a rolodex of connections and knows how to close deals. Who You Do It WithYou will report to our Head of Player Care, with a dotted line to our VP Revenue. You will work closely with our Head of Partnerships, directly with our players, with their agents, and will have a close tie to our Sporting Organization. You will also work closely with our Player Marketing Manager. How You Do ItYou work with a fierce drive to set the standard as this position is a new position within the industry. You will work with empathy for your colleagues, with flexibility for the sporting calendar, and with the innate belief that this team will set the industry standard.
