About the opportunity: We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Player Care Lead to join Everton Football Club Women’s team and support the First Team and Academy departments.
As the Player Care Lead you will be responsible for providing off-field support for all Players and will lead on the Club's on-boarding process, enhancing the academy experience for all players and their parents, as well as providing ongoing support throughout their journey with the Club.
Other core responsibilities you will cover as part of this role include;
Producing monthly Player Care updates to share with necessary stakeholders.
Developing an emergency contact and support procedure for Players and their families, including acting as a designated Club point of contact
Assisting the media, marketing and commercial departments with Player and Management appearance requests, ensuring the player/management is appropriately prepared to deliver these effectively.
Developing and implementing an exit plan for Players departing the Club
Develop a network of contacts who can be on hand 24/7 if needed, such as: estate agents, car suppliers, food providers, travel companies etc.
You will lead the efficient and effective functioning of the department, influencing administrative process’ and ensuring a best-in-class service.
Who we are looking for: Essentially, we are looking for a Player Care professional, who has athlete care experience within an elite sporting environment.
You must be comfortable working with a wide variety of demands and be flexible enough to support our elite players within First Team and Academy across competitive fixtures, both home and away.
We need someone who possess’ the ability to work discreetly under pressure, and is a passionate, energised team player who embraces opportunities to collaborate with a broader diverse team.
It would be advantageous if the successful candidate spoke a foreign language (French, Spanish and Portuguese are preferred) and has strong knowledge of the local area.
This role is on a 12-month fixed-term basis, working 35 hours per week and is based within Finch Farm training ground in Liverpool (Halewood).
