Hampden Sports Clinic are looking for a Senior Physiotherapist to join the team.
Hampden Sports clinic is based in the world-renowned Hampden Park Stadium, Glasgow, and is multi-disciplinary clinic offering physiotherapy, sports massage, podiatry, biomechanical analysis, health and fitness testing and Sports Medicine services. We have been established for 20 years and have a loyal client base in both the sporting and general population. As well as our base in Hampden Park we also have a clinic at both the University of Glasgow and Strathclyde University in the heart of Glasgow city centre. We work alongside many elite sporting organisations such as the Scottish FA, Sport Scotland Institute of Sport and Glasgow School of sport and have an excellent mix of working with a wide variety of clients.
We are looking to recruit a full-time physiotherapist to join the team to be primarily based at our flagship clinic in Hampden Park. The successful candidate will work alongside our established and experienced team to deliver high quality service to our clients. You will be expected to manage your own patient caseload, use our PPS diary system, be able to liaise with other members of the healthcare team and organise and plan rehabilitation. The hours of work will be Monday – Saturday, 35 hours per week and the position is salaried and remuneration dependant on experience. We require the successful candidate to be self-motivated, willing to work in a team of healthcare professionals, be able to work independently in our satellite clinics and be flexible in their approach to working.

Job purpose:To deliver and progress a first-class physiotherapy service to all clients attending the Clinic. Employment will be primarily based at Hampden Sports clinic but may require working at external sites as required.

Main duties and responsibilities:
Management and delivery of physiotherapy to all clients referred to the Clinic.
Manage client list effectively and efficiently.
Maintain accurate confidential records of all interventions applicable to clients.
Achieve required targets of maintaining patient numbers.
Take an active role in social media production to boost clinic awareness.
Have a flexible attitude to hours of employment which includes weekend work.
Communicate/liaise with other members of a multi-disciplinary team including coach, sports science, strength and conditioning, doctors, other physiotherapists and administrative staff.
Take an active part in promoting the Clinic in all its differing activities.
Undertake lecturing duties as required to students and assist in delivering practical teaching sessions alongside orthopaedic consultants
Be willing to work with other sports professional bodies within their role as a physiotherapist.
Undertake a programme of CPD including attendance at meetings and courses and teaching as required.
Work within the CSP rules of professional conduct and standards of practice.
Be willing to work off site as required.
Be aware of current research within sports injury management and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of relevant clinical practice.
Any other duties as reasonably requested by Head of Physiotherapy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
A degree of flexibility regarding working hours is essential.
A working knowledge of medical record systems and good computer skills.
Ability to work under pressure and work on own initiative and manage multiple projects.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Diplomacy, tact and a high standard of personal appearance are essential.
Ability to work within strict confidentiality guidelines.
Can demonstrate good planning and preparation skills.
Ability to work in a team and independently.
Hold registration with HCPC and CSP.
Salary - dependant on experience of candidate. Hours - 35 hours per week Monday – Saturday.
