ROLE DESCRIPTION
Physical Coach – national youth teams (men or women) (M/F/X)
THIS WILL BE YOUR JOB
As a physical coach of our national youth teams, you will be part of the technical staff of your team. During the internships, the physical coach will work together with our multidisciplinary high-performance staff. You will fulfill a supporting role focused on the physical performance of the team and individual players by optimizing physical fitness and reducing the risk of injury. You are also responsible for monitoring and supporting the fitness of the players between the different international internships by communicating with players and clubs.
The following tasks are part of your assignment:
You provide the warm-up for training sessions and competitions;
In collaboration with the technical staff, you prescribe the correct conditioning on and off the field;
You assist in developing and implementing injury reduction and prehabilitation programs together with the medical staff;
You monitor players during the stages using tracking technologies (e.g. GNSS/GPS, heart rate, RPE, perceived recovery) and physical testing;
You monitor the physical fitness of the players between the different training camps by communicating with players and clubs;
You communicate with the coach and staff to guide joint decision-making on training load management to optimize player health and performance, taking into account individual characteristics such as previous training and matches, injury history, maturity, etc.
DO YOU RECOGNIZE YOURSELF IN THIS PROFILE?
You have a master's or bachelor's degree in physical education or physiotherapy;
You have at least 2 years of experience as a physical coach in a similar position;
You look critically at existing processes and tools, are open to feedback and work together with the technical staff to create an optimal environment for the players and the team;
You use Microsoft Office 365 and monitoring technology & software. Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI is a plus;
You are available approximately 40 to 60 days per year to participate in training camps and/or competitions with the team;
You are in possession of a driving license B.
Your language skills
You have a perfect command of Dutch or French with a good knowledge of the other national language. Good knowledge of English is a plus.

You have a flexible attitude when carrying out your tasks in various technical areas;
