The job
Albion in the Community have an exciting opportunity for 2 Level 4 Cancer Rehab instructors (or Level 3 GP Referral instructors committed to working towards their Level 4 Cancer Rehab) to join our award-winning Brighter Outlook physical activity project, supporting people living with and beyond cancer across West Sussex.

As a Physical Activity Coach, you will be responsible for providing personalised one-to-one physical activity support, using motivational interviewing techniques, and delivering tailored cancer prehabilitation/rehabilitation classes in venues across West Sussex, to increase physical activity levels and improve quality of life.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated instructor to play a role in delivering a pioneering project that improves the lives of those affected by cancer, through providing opportunities for patients to get active in a safe, supportive and sociable environment.

This role involves travel across West Sussex, with office based at the Amex Stadium.

What we need
The successful candidate will have previous experience or training in leisure or physical activity setting and experience of interacting and building rapport and trust with people from a wide variety of backgrounds, circumstances and needs.

You will hold at least a level 3 referral qualification recognised by the Register of Exercise Professionals - it would be desirable to hold a level 4.
