The job
Albion in the Community are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Physical Activity Coordinator to lead on the development and delivery of the award-winning Brighter Outlook cancer physical activity programme across Sussex and other inclusive physical activity projects.

Are you an experienced project coordinator who is passionate about and committed to tackling physical inactivity, reducing health inequalities and improving overall health and wellbeing? Do you have a track record of developing and coordinating evidence-based physical activity interventions targeted at those communities who need them most?

This role involves leading a team of physical activity coaches to develop and deliver high-quality physical activity programmes and sessions that meet the needs of target groups, including people living with and beyond cancer, and individuals who experience barriers to engaging in physical activity.

The role will be pre-dominantly based the American Express Community Stadium, Brighton, however the role does require travel throughout Sussex.

What we need
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years¿ experience managing projects including planning, monitoring and reporting, ideally within a NHS environment or other public health funders. It would be desirable to have a relevant graduate or post graduate degree or similar field.
