Job Title – Performance Analyst (Academy)
Location – Cobham Training Ground
Hours – Sessional/Casual

About the Team:

Based at Cobham Training Ground, there are more than 60 full-time colleagues working with 198 registered players from Under-9s through to Under-23s development squad.

The Academy’s vision is to inspire a generation of players to be successful both on and off the pitch, increasing playing time in our first team and across the whole professional game. The mission to be the first choice academy for players and parents in England.

What We’re Looking For:

A candidate who can provide analysis support to coaches and lead analysts throughout the U9-U21 age groups. Along with delivering analysis related to performance education to players, ensuring they understand all analysis tasks within their programmes. They will also need to provide technical support for the delivery of matchday presentations, tactical workshops and individual players analysis projects; as directed by the coaches or specialist support staff. Maintaining team and individual video statistical databases to monitor individual player performance for tracking and benchmarking players throughout these age groups.

Must Haves/qualified by demonstratable experience to the level required:

• Hold an under-gradutate degree in Performance Analysis or working towards completion.
• Hold an FA Level 1 or greater qualification.
• Valid First Aid and Safeguarding Certificates.
• Availability to work during any (or all) of the following times: Evenings, Weekends, School Holidays.

Nice to Have:

• FA Level 2 or greater.
• Masters degree in Performance Analysis.
• Experience in the use of industry standard analysis software (Hudl)
• Experience in public speaking to large groups of people.
