Organisation Overview:    
Formed in 2001 to improve refereeing standards, PGMOL manage the 600 match officials operating in the Premier League, EFL, Women’s Super League and Championship, National League and FA Competitions. PGMOL is responsible for the recruitment, training, development and mentoring of all match officials. 
To deliver the quality of refereeing required by the Competitions, PGMOL mirrors the setup of a football club with coaches, sports scientists, sports psychologists and physiotherapists all part of the improvement process.
Role Purpose:    
The Performance Analysis Manager is responsible for ensuring that the Performance Analysis department drives Match Official performance improvement through the provision of data and video analysis.  
The Performance Analysis Manager will oversee the day-to-day running of the Performance Analysis department, working closely with the wider multi-disciplinary team and coaching staff to ensure tailored performance analysis support is provided to Match Officials at all levels within PGMOL.

Main Duties (include but are not limited to):    
•                  Manage the provision and development of video and data analysis across all levels
•                  Day-to-day management of the Performance Analysis Team, including objective setting,                             regular communication and reviews
•                  Work with the Head of Performance Analysis on strategic responsibilities for the analysis                         provision across the organisation
•                  Co-ordinate an aligned service to each of the Match Official groups
•                  Oversee the maintenance and future development of internal video and data platforms
•                  Lead the organisation and management of the content required for training meetings
•                  Research, monitor and implement innovative technologies to improve                                                             delivery of information
•                  Production of reports for the Leadership Team, PGMOL Board and key stakeholders
•                  Support the professional development of all Performance Analysts within the department
•                  Support implementation of the Elite Refereeing Development Plan
•                  Attendance at training events and meetings
•                  Being an integral part of the Performance Analysis Department and contribute to the wider                       aims of PGMOL
Person Specification (experience, qualifications, skills, aptitudes, and personal qualities):  
•                  Extensive experience of professional football support within Performance Analysis
•                  Proven ability of working as part of a multi-disciplinary or integrated team
•                  Highly motivated to lead and drive a team
•                  An understanding of the Laws of the Game 
•                  Highly competent in using various analysis software
•                  Comprehensive football knowledge, with the ability to contextualise and present
•                  Able to interact and build working relationships across stakeholders
•                  Demonstrate excellent IT skills
•                  Exceptional eye for detail
•                  Excellent communicator and interpersonal skills
•                  Be flexible in their working hours 
•                  Be able to function effectively in a virtual environment where online working, discipline and                       communication is key
•                  Qualification or interest in refereeing
•                  Managing and developing individuals in an elite sporting environment
•                  Experience writing or working in Excel VBA
•                  Experience in implementation and development of new technologies
•                  Experience with data visualization packages
