ROLE DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Pathway Development Coach
Salary: Dependant on skills and experience
Hours: Full time
Location: The role will involve travel but your main place of employment will be American Express Elite Football Performance Centre, Lancing. 
Job Type: Permanent
Deadline Day: 5th March 2024
 
Start date: We are looking for this role to begin at the start of the 24/25 season, from 1st July 2024 (subject to satisfactory employment vetting and safer recruitment checks).

Come and play your part as a Pathway Development Coach
This new position will work alongside many talented people across the club to agree, create, and develop the best development pathway for each of our squad players. You will support with the production of monthly loan reports and end of season loan player dossiers and monitor each individual player’s development at their loan club through regular weekly dialogue and viewing matches, developing IDP’s, exit interviews and ensuring their development is in line with club goals.
 
This role will require frequent travel both inside and outside of the UK, so a flexible approach to working hours will be required. 
 
Your background
It is essential that you have a professional coaching background with the experience of developing player pathways to progress into a club’s first team or elsewhere. We are looking for someone who can work well within a team and take on board the opinions of others whilst maintaining excellent working relationships with the coaching, technical and support staff.
