Job purpose

To be responsible for delivering the day-to-day management of relationships with Reading Football Club’s growing portfolio of commercial partners. Initiative and independence will be critical, working with various internal and external stakeholders to develop and deliver best in class partnership delivery.

Accountabilities

To work with commercial partners to maximise partnerships
To work alongside partners to develop and implement activation plans that deliver against objectives and exceed KPI’s.
To coordinate Marketing, Digital, Events and Communications teams to support partner campaigns, ensuring they are aligned with the club’s strategy and engage target audiences.
To build strong relationships within our commercial partners to develop a robust understanding of partner brands and businesses.
To develop and deliver insight led partner evaluation presentations
To oversee player appearances and content creation as part of sponsor rights
To attend matches as and when required
To contribute to driving the overall commercial strategy including supporting new business initiatives.
To adhere to a strict code of confidentiality in respect of any information relating to Reading Football Club and its operation
There is an expectation that you will undertake adhoc work on an exceptional basis or provide relevant cover for other team tasks

To respond to all enquires within Reading Football Club Charter guidelines.

To be presentable at all times when working and demonstrate that you can represent the face of the club in the manner expected

Experience

Experience in delivering sponsorship rights in either a sport or events environment
Experience in a client facing role, fostering positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Experience of building process, ways of working and collaboration

Knowledge

A knowledge and passion for the sports and sponsorship industry

Skills

The ability to work independently and with initiative
Excellent project, planning, organisational and time management skills with a high attention to detail
The confidence and capability to build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
