We offer a unique and exciting working environment, excellent training, with recognition and rewards for the part each individual plays.The PurposeWorking within the Alliances Partnerships Relationship Management and Operations teams based at Old Trafford, this role will play a significant part in servicing an impressive array of commercial partnerships.The 12-month paid placement offers experience working in a fast paced and dynamic commercial environment whilst learning about the sports marketing industry. You will gain an invaluable insight into the operations of a global company, specifically supporting the Partnerships team on day-to-day tasks as well as a number of one off creative, experiential and event management projects.The Role

Carrying out daily activities and administrative support for a variety of both matchday and non-matchday events and activation inc. booking travel, raising POs, sending gifts, managing partner ticketing and guest lists, talent appearances, event logistics
Desk research, database management and sourcing/collating items
High quality stock inventory management and control
Proof reading and assisting with presentations
Logistical administrative preparation including mail merging, sending letters and packages and dealing with couriers on a daily basis
Building itineraries for partners and providing hands on logistical support for events
Strategy, analysis and support on one off projects from concept through to completion
Assisting an experienced and fast paced RM/Ops team fulfilling all requests in a timely and professional manner
Supporting the team in driving innovation and world class event delivery, applying creativity and collaborative thinking to shaping future on/offline events
Various administrative and support errands for Partnerships team as required
Required to work at events that may fall outside of working hours and on matchdays

The Person

Ambitious graduate/college or further education leaver with a strong academic background and no more than 12 months’ work experience.
A strong academic record supported by evidence of extra curriculum work
Great time management skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Self-motivated with good attention to detail
Naturally proactive, with a hands-on approach to work
Excellent organisational skills and computer literacy is important, with good experience using all MS Office packages
Extremely thorough with excellent attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a mature, confident and professional telephone manner
The ability to work in an independent, resourceful and self-confident manner is important
