Job Title: Partnerships AnalystDepartment:  Business Intelligence Reports to: Manager of Business Analytics Position Summary: The Partnership Business Analyst will support the Partnership sales and activation teams in growing and retaining long-term partnership revenue by providing strategic and analytical support in the evaluation of new business and renewal opportunities. This Analyst is primarily responsible for heavily researching industries, companies, and FC Cincinnati’s data to develop and create data-backed pitches and stories for both prospects and existing partners that meet the needs of the prospect or client and FC Cincinnati.  The ideal candidate has experience in partnership sales with a background leaning towards analytics and research. The Partnership Business Analyst reports directly to the Manager of Business Analytics and will work closely with the FC Cincinnati Partnerships team and Marketing & Communications team. The Business Intelligence Department is responsible for analyzing, interpreting, presenting, and communicating data to enhance processes, decision-making, and outcomes for FC Cincinnati.What You’ll Do: Support sales and activation strategy with delivering consistent reports showcasing value, highlights, and optimization recommendations by utilizing internal and external insights that demonstrate overall partnership performance and critical benchmarking metricsProactively assess the industry landscape (locally, regionally and nationally), market demands, emerging categories and category opportunities to assist with sales strategies and tactics relevant to identifying new revenue opportunitiesProvide an ongoing, actionable list of new business sponsorship targets not previously identifiedActively engage in weekly sales meetings to gain in-depth insight into the Partnership team's objectives and primary areas of focus, enabling the proactive provision of data-driven resources and materials to bolster their endeavorsAct as lead contact with internal departments to grow our partnership measurement footprint, understanding impact, reach and return on objective (ROO) for all corporate partnersAssist the sales and activation teams in client meetings by understanding key partner initiatives, objectives and tracking KPIs to deliver ROI and delivering customized reports applicable to the partner meeting goalsSupport outbound partner proposals and renewals by reporting on relevant information from consumer insights, analytics tools and internal input for a data-backed go-to-market strategyCreate, manage and actively update sponsorship sales presentation materials, providing a cohesive narrative and sophisticated analytical support. Sales materials will include customized insights about the FC Cincinnati brand, fanbase, sales prospect and be customized for key categories and assetsLead and assist in back-end CRM sponsorship data management and reportingAssist in the formulation, ideation and analyzing of annual partner surveys to better understand the partners objectives and metrics for successManage FC Cincinnati Partnerships inventory management systems (Agilitek) to leverage their full capabilities, e.g., inventory sell-through reports, rate cards, etc.Lead monthly reporting across the Partnerships group including sales pipeline insights, year-to-date revenue breakdown, inventory sell-through, etc.Assist the partnership activation team in building proof of performance recapsOther duties as assigned What You’ll Bring: To perform the job successfully, you will have or demonstrate the following skills and abilities:Strategic and critical thinker who can develop creative solutions based on the data available to themStrong attention to detail with ability to complete work in a thorough and accurate manner.
