What Were Looking For:

Chelsea FC are looking for a Partnership Sales Executive to join the business and look after the following tasks:

Revenue contribute to delivery and exceeding of annual sponsorship revenue target on an ongoing basis across all levels of club partnership
Reputation build and develop and network of industry contacts - e.g. agencies and brand stakeholders to source and engage viable partnership prospects
Stakeholders interact with CFC stakeholders across the business to ensure effective cross-departmental collaboration and to drive additional revenue opportunities
Team be an active member of the team, contribute to a positive, collaborative environment and manage and develop any direct reports

Brief description and duties:

Revenue:


Pipeline build the CFC sponsorship pipeline through multiple avenues, including through cold outreach, in order to maximise the number of quality conversations with qualified prospects CFC are having at any one time.
Sales Cycle Drive the initial outreach and first meeting prep and support team members across the rest of the sales cycle up including maximising the effectiveness of hosting opportunities and face to face meetings and liaising with internal contacts on key elements of the deal e.g. finance and legal.
Prospect Intelligence ascertain the key objectives and success measures of partnership prospects and ensure the level and details of any partnership proposal maximises the clubs assets, is supported by robust business intelligence and insights and helps achieve their goals.


Reputation:


Creative Material ensure sales material is high-quality and customised for brands and aligns with Chelsea position as a premium, aspirational brand.
Proof of ROI ensure sales material is showcasing the best metrics to outline the potential ROI and commercial rationale behind any deal.
Industry engagement a proactive approach in ideating, creating and implementing opportunities to host and engage new and existing prospects through light-touch sales events.
Agencies promote and maintain a positive, collaborative working relationship with various key agency contacts and ensure such contacts are aware and understand the Chelsea FC sales proposition
Feedback enhancement where prospects do not progress to signature, ascertain the reason and ensure both continued, long-term relationship with the brand and potential improvements to sales process


Stakeholders:


Relationship management engage key stakeholders across the club to facilitate smooth and effective cross-departmental collaboration
CRM ensure the partnership CRM is up to date and reflective of the current stage of partnership discussions and is reporting concisely and effectively on the sales pipeline.


Team:


Support - To work closely with and assist the Sponsorship Sales team, the wider commercial team and other departments.
Flexible willingness to work flexible hours and to go above and beyond.


Must Haves/qualified by demonstrable experience to the level required:


Relevant background and track record of success in sales
High level of proactivity and thrives on a challenge
Ability to be flexible and work effectively in a pressurised environment
A good listener and communicator with a strong storytelling ability
A likeable, enthusiastic, collaborative team-member who has a positive influence on the team

Nice to Have:

Experience of working in a sponsorship sales environment
An outside perspective and expertise from different fields
Expert knowledge in any of the following fields could be of benefit:Digital marketing and campaigns,CRM, Sponsorship strategy, Brand marketing, Data Insights
