The National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) is a Division-I professional women's soccer league featuring the most prolific domestic and international players from around the globe. The twelve-team league consists of the Angel City Football Club (L.A.), Chicago Red Stars, Houston Dash, Kansas City Current, North Carolina Courage, Orlando Pride, Portland Thorns FC, OL Reign, Racing Louisville, San Diego Wave, NJ/NY Gotham FC, and the Washington Spirit.
The NWSL office is growing to meet the demands of the changing global landscape of professional women's soccer. We are looking for individuals who desire to make an impact on the future of sport in the United States.
Position Description
Reporting directly to the Partnership Marketing Director, this position will manage and support the marketing activities for NWSL corporate partners, as well as occasionally supportingBusiness Development efforts when needed, via prospecting, presentation development, and participation in pitch meetings.

The position is responsible for daily successful management of corporate partner relationships, including;

Strategic planning with corporate partners to drive League and partner objectives.
Deliver contract sponsorship obligations.
Drive development of new League platforms, partner opportunities, and incremental sales revenue.
Lead execution of new initiatives.


Primary Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day support to the League's corporate partners ensuring that all contractual obligations of both the NWSL and corporate partners are met.
Maintain deep knowledge of the companies that comprise his/her/their portfolio and the broader industries in which these companies operate.
Assist with the preparation of briefs for NWSL senior management and cross-departmental teams on the business strategies and performance of each of the companies within his/her/their portfolio of corporate partners.
Diligently work cross-departmentally to identify and develop new ideas and assets that meet both corporate partner goals as well as NWSL objectives and incrementally sell ideas to partner portfolios.
Conduct and facilitate cross-departmental planning sessions in support of Partnership Marketing programs.
Develop strong relationships with the day-to-day managers of corporate partners within his/her/their portfolio.
Create, monitor, and maintain reports that track the effectiveness of marketing programs that the NWSL implements with each of its corporate partners.


Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required.
4-8 years of progressive experience in sponsorship sales and marketing.
Experience building presentations including graphics packages, Microsoft, and Google presentations.
Experience selling partners on new ideas and programs.
Experience managing partner relationships.
Ability to work independently and in a virtual environment and execute without close supervision.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Ability to maintain strong 'customer service' and follow-up with all partner requests.
Ability to deliver high quality work and execute under pressure/deadlines.
Ability to work non-traditional hours in non-traditional settings within a professional sports atmosphere.

Pay Range:$65,000 - $70,000 annually
Work Location: New York, NY or Chicago, IL
