ROLE DESCRIPTION

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Partnership Coordinator prospects, pursues, and develops CFC partnership opportunities with businesses and brands. Your job will involve building and managing relationships with potential and existing partners and sponsors, preparing and delivering presentations on partnership possibilities, and ensuring that partnerships best meet the goals of business partners and CFC.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Partnership Sales: Research potential partnership opportunities, develop presentations for new business accounts, create proposals present ideas and opportunities to help grow the business of each corporate partner.



Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with customers, provide exceptional customer service, and address inquiries, concerns, and requests. Schedule regular face-to-face appointments on a consistent basis to ensure satisfaction and learn requests for partnership changes/updates.



Coordination: Collaborate with CFC game presentation, community relations, ticketing, and marketing areas to ensure that potential and existing partners are aware of varied advantages/options for their partnership and special events.



Prospecting: Attend networking and promotional events to develop and maintain contact with potential clients and professional bodies. Monitor the competitive marketplace, including local, regional, and national sports and entertainment.



Reporting/Administrative: File a weekly report on partnership sales activity. Perform administrative responsibilities on partnership accounts as requested.



Industry Knowledge: Stay up to date with sports’ industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly.



Field Duties: Join other CFC members in setting up and tearing down field boards and perform other field-related tasks for games as needed.



Assist other staff members as requested and needed to meet organization’s goals.



QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of successful sales/marketing experience preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Proficient in Google Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, and internet navigation.
CRM experience with either HubSpot or Salesforce preferred.
Competitive nature and a contagious, positive attitude.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Must be able to manage schedule to achieve daily and weekly goals for calls, appointments, and sales.
Infrequent travel (<5%).
Ability to lift 25 lbs.
Exceptional work ethic, strong desire to succeed, eagerness to learn, professionalism, and a passion for the sports industry.
Willingness to be present and work at events on nights and weekends.
Must be open to learning throughout sales training process and be a coachable team member.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
