Role description

We have an opportunity for a Partner Acquisition Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be part of the team responsible for maximising and growing revenue streams by driving the recruitment of sponsors/partners and uncovering new revenue streams.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Securing sponsorship partners for Fulham FC and Fulham Pier with a global remit from initial strategy planning and research through to engagement, building of a proposal and contract negotiations;
Research target industries, understanding sector dynamics / trends within in order to generate target list of prospects based on company strategies and synergies with FFC;
Developing high level sales presentations and sales materials to present the partnership opportunity to senior level individuals in targeted companies;
Proactively contact decision makers at targeted organisations for initial conversation around partnership opportunities;
Development of bespoke sponsorship / partnership proposals to suit needs of individual companies. Develop business proposals based on prospective clients’ strategic agendas;
Work with the Sales Director and Partner Acquisition Manager to manage build networks and relationships with industry agencies;
Present the partnership opportunities to the client decision makers;
Work with key internal stakeholders i.e., marketing, ticketing, hospitality, finance, and communications etc to ensure a collaborative, joined up approach to business and brand development and to identify new areas of Club inventory for sale.

You will have demonstrable experience of having led or played a major part in formulating, presenting, negotiating, and closing high value business to business partnership deals. You will be experienced in negotiating commercial terms and working with an in-house legal team.
You will be an exceptional communicator able to work autonomously and in a team environment. The following qualities are also essential; self-motivated, flexible, resilient and commitment to deliver. Ideally you will have worked with a sports brand and will have a good knowledge of football.
