These programs include but are not limited to the Chicago Fire Soccer Academy u13 to u19 teams. This individual must be a role model to our aspiring young student-athletes and embody the academy's vision, mission, and core values.ResponsibilitiesThis position will work in collaboration with the Head Coach for the following items: PrepareBuild out each session with respect to the weekly program.                                                      Create exercises and/or activities based on the positions and situations presented in games that address items from beginning to end.Define the key coaching points and relevant information for each session.Provide video clips to the players as a supplemental resource for practice and training sessions.Be Successful On the fieldEstablish a favorable learning environment in each training session.Create a competitive environment (individual and collective challenge).                          Utilize technical and tactical corrections regarding the Chicago Fire Academy methodology.Conclude SessionsProvide feedback to the players regarding understanding and analyzing the quality of each session.Cultivate relationships via one-on-one discussions with players.              Game ManagementCollaborate with the Head Coach to prepare a presentation with video analysis.                   Analyze the opponent (formation, key players…).Obtain, provide and analyze statistics as requested by the Head Coach.Manage the administrative duties of substitutions.Maintain a positive attitude and sportsmanlike conduct while being respectful to the opponent, referee, etc.Provide an in-depth analysis of the first half (offensively and defensively) to the Head Coach.Participate in the half-time talk if needed.                           Assist the Head Coach to provide feedback for the players on the quality of the game.                              Track/Evaluate DataComplete the game evaluation and game attendance. Fill out the player scan twice a year.Responsibilities in Player/Parents MeetingGive an assessment of the player using data from the player scan.Provide clear objectives and goals to the player.  Responsibilities of VideoProvide video clips of the team and opponents.Responsibilities of ScoutingObserve games and watch videos to evaluate prospective players. Take part in the organization of the identification event.Responsibilities to the Holistic Development of Players:Demonstrate duty of care responsibilities of the Club by ensuring a positive and safe development experience for players and staff.Support player health, player education, and player welfare programs.QualificationsMinimum of three (3) years of work-related coaching experience requiredMinimum requirement of USSF C LicenseMust be able to effectively work in teams by exhibiting trust, communication and role identificationFully vaccinated for COVID-19 with boosterPlease note:Chicago Fire Football Club is committed to fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture of diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion.
