Role description
The Para Talent Hub Head Coach role will lead, deliver & support the development of the FA Para Talent Hub covering the West Midlands Region.
The FA Para Talent Hub provides a checkpoint within the FA Para Talent Pathway for players with Cerebral Palsy, Deaf Players and Partially Sighted Players aged 7-16 years old.
The main responsibilities of the Para Talent Hub Head Coach are:
- To oversee the running of the FA Para Talent Hub
- Attend all Para Talent Hub training sessions (One Friday per month), delivering appropriate coaching activities to all players
- Support the delivery of 3x England Talent Days during the 23-24 season
- Support with scouting & recruitment of new players into the Para Talent Hub.
- Provide administration support of the Para Talent Hub
The Para Talent Hub Head Coach role requirements:
- Hold a UEFA B qualification or above
- In date FA DBS & relevant FA Safeguarding & First Aid Qualifications
- Experience of working within a talent pathway environment
- Experience of working with players with Cerebral Palsy, Hearing Impairments & Visual Impairments.
- Excellent versatile communication skills
- Experiencing of mentoring
- Experience of managing people
- Commitment to your own personal development
- Must be available Friday Evenings (once per month) for the Para Talent Hub in Staffordshire
- Ability to travel as required for the role
