Position: The Operations Specialist is part of the Stadium Operations Department for Minnesota United Football Club (MNUFC), a sports business located in the Twins Cities area of Minnesota and a member of Major League Soccer (MLS), the top tier soccer league in North America. Job Description:The Operations Specialist is responsible for assisting in all building operations including housekeeping, sustainability, preventative maintenance, repairs, security, and event changeovers. This position is also responsible for the direction of work assignments and communication between management and department personnel. This is a full-time position at Allianz Field in St. Paul, MN. Essential Duties:Inspect all areas of assigned facilities are clean and ready for event and non-event days including keeping accurate records of those inspectionsMonitor inventory of maintenance items, toiletries, and other consumables and order replacement supplies to ensure operations staff are able to perform tasks without delay Identify and manage sustainability initiatives and act as a resource for other departments in the pursuit of sustainability initiativesDevelop and maintain tools, metrics, and indicators for assessing progress towards sustainability goalsSupport the Operations Manager and Director of Operations with capital/construction project management and procurement proceduresAssist in the management of the computerized maintenance management software and the detailed records of projects, preventative maintenance, and other repairs and maintenance related itemsCreate and respond to work orders in a timely mannerCoordinate between event and non-event housekeeping needs within the departmentResearch solutions and vendors for new products and means/methods to complete projectsOther tasks as assigned by the Director of Operations Physical Requirements:Able to stand for extended timeAble to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbsAble to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends and holiday as deemed necessaryAble to work indoors and outdoors in all types of adverse weather conditionsEducation/Experience: At least 2 - 4 years in facility operationsBachelor’s degree in Sport Management, Hospitality, Business or related field, or a combination of related education and work experienceAbility to work with many different groups of people and balance the needs of all through effective communication, time management, and internal motivationCompany Profile: MNUFC is a professional soccer club playing in Major League Soccer (MLS), the top tier of soccer in North America, and which operates under the oversight of the U.S. Soccer Federation, a member of FIFA.
