ABOUT THE ROLEBased in Sydney,this role will lead the administration and operational requirements of Football Australia refereeing department. The role will be the conduit between the Football Australia Referees department, FA Events department and Australian Professional Leagues for operational matters relating to match officials appointed to the A-Leagues. The role is aligned with the XI Principles for the Future of Australian Football, specifically principle VI - Creating world class environments for coach and referee development, which is to provide the appropriate administration support, and logistics for our elite match officials operating on the A-Leagues, Australia Cup and International Football.Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage the administration of the Refereeing department, including contractual deliverables (e.g. uniforms)
Coordination of logistics for match official seminars, workshops and national events including tournament and matches
Coordination and distribution of correspondence including appointments for national competitions
Manage operational aspects such as accreditations, passes, travel bookings for National and International Football events
Liaise with competition stakeholders for operational matters relation to A-Leagues and International matches
Coordination of support staff, including fitness trainers, match day physios, communications technicians
Management of the match official payment records and reconciliation for Finance department
Management of online learning and referee management systems
Collection and provision of data to assist GM – Elite Refereeing with selection processes for elite competitions

ABOUT YOUExperience, Skills and Qualifications:

Degree in Sports Administration/Management or similar
Excellent administrative skills
Excellent stakeholder management
Excellent communication skills
Good technology skills and understanding
Experience working in high performing fast paced environments
Ability to work autonomously and as a team
Football refereeing knowledge will be highly desirable
Previous experience in a similar role will be highly desirable
Experience in managing large scale logistics

Additional Requirements:

Full working rights in Australia
Working with children check (paid/ employee) or state- based equivalent
Out of hours and weekend work as required
Intrastate and interstate travel as required
