ROLE DESCRIPTION
In order to strengthen our Sports department, we are looking for a motivated person to take on the role of
National Youth Team Coach (U18 Men's Head Coach) (M/F/X)
HERE IS YOUR FUNCTION
As a National Youth Team Head Coach , you will be responsible for planning, implementing and managing a number of international camps throughout the year, including camps for friendly matches, qualifying matches and tournament finals, as well as preparation and assessment days.
The following tasks will be part of your mission:
You will be responsible for creating and managing a high performance environment within this youth national team, alongside the Youth National Team Manager.
You will have to manage a technical and support staff within the team which will be created by the URBSFA.
With the URBSFA teams, you will have to follow/support/promote the vocabulary, philosophy/playing style and training methodology of the Belgian national youth football teams during and after international training courses, both collectively and individually.
You will work closely with the National Youth Team Manager for everything related to player preparation and monitoring.
You will work closely with the Scouting and Talent ID department to support the detection of young players and contribute to the identification, recruitment and monitoring of players for national teams.
You will work with the Coaching department and coaches from other youth national teams to identify high potential talents for the national team with the aim of creating a pathway to support these young players through the national teams.
As a youth national team coach, you will sometimes be required to work for other teams as a head or assistant coach for men's and/or women's youth teams.
YOU RECOGNIZE YOURSELF IN THIS PROFILE ?
You hold a UEFA A diploma.
You have coaching experience in elite professional youth teams and/or national youth teams.
You are development-focused and have experience in educating and promoting young players;
You are an excellent communicator and are able to use technology effectively;
You understand multidisciplinary work in high-performance environments;
You are passionate about player development and work collaboratively across disciplines to support the individual.
Your knowledge of languages
You are fluent in French or Dutch and have a very good knowledge of the other national language. In addition, a good knowledge of English is a plus.
