To strengthen our Department of Sports, we are looking for a motivated



Assistant coach national youth team – Men (M/F/X)

Part-time



THIS WILL BE YOUR JOB

As an assistant coach of a national youth team (age category TBC) you will be responsible for supporting the national youth team coach (men) with regard to planning, organising and managing various national camps per year, including friendly camps, qualifying rounds and final tournaments and relevant preparation and scouting days.



Depending on the successful completion of your interview, we will then propose which team you will become an assistant coach for. This can range from our national youth teams U19 to U15.



The following tasks are part of your assignment:

You will support the national youth team coach (men) with regard to planning, organising and managing various national training camps per year, including friendly training camps, qualifying rounds and final tournaments and relevant preparation and scouting days;
You support the national coach in managing a technical and support staff within the team put together by the KBVB;
With the KBVB teams you must follow/support/promote the football vocabulary, philosophy/playing style and training methodology of the Belgian national youth teams during and after international training camps, both for the team and individually;
You will also work closely with the Scouting and Talent ID Department to support the scouting of youth players and play a role in identifying, recruiting and monitoring players for the national teams;
You will work with the Coaching Department and the other national youth team coaches to identify talents with high potential for the national team and set up a pathway to guide these players through the national teams.


DO YOU RECOGNIZE YOURSELF IN THIS PROFILE?

You are in possession of a UEFA A or B diploma;
You have gained coaching experience in elite senior and/or youth teams in professional football and/or national youth teams;
You are focused on development and have experience in training and encouraging young players;
You are a highly skilled communicator with the ability to use technology effectively;
You have insight into multidisciplinary collaboration in high-performance environments;
You have a passion for player development and collaboration across disciplines to support the individual.
Your language skills

You speak fluent Dutch or French and have a very high level in the other national language. In addition, you also have a good command of the English language.
Your personality

You have good communication skills and are able to establish contacts with all parties involved;
You work in a structured manner and continue to function effectively under pressure;
You are able to find a balance between long-term player development and short-term sporting goals;
You can work in a team;
You possess interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with individuals;
You have a positive attitude and think in solutions;
You are a team player;
You attach great importance to integrity and know how to handle confidential information;
You are flexible, both in terms of content and availability;
You take responsibility.
