ROLE DESCRIPTION


At the Sports Department we are looking for a motivated



Head coach of the Futures national youth teams (U17+U16+U15)



THIS WILL BE YOUR JOB

As Head Coach of the Futures National Youth Teams, you will be responsible for planning, executing and managing various international training camps throughout the international season, for three different Futures teams.



The following tasks are part of your job description:

The Head Coach of the Futures Youth Teams must focus exclusively on the development of the support of late maturing players in this programme and guide them in their trajectory within the national team; You are responsible for creating and managing a high-quality environment within these national youth teams, alongside the Head of National Youth Teams. You are also responsible for managing a technical and support staff within the teams created by the KBVB;
With the KBVB teams you must follow/support/promote the vocabulary, philosophy/playing style and training methodology of the Belgian national youth football teams during and after the international training camps, both collectively and individually;
You will work closely with the Head of National Youth Teams in all matters related to player preparation and monitoring and you will deliver a specific curriculum designed for the Futures teams;
You will work closely with the Scouting and Talent ID Department to support the scouting of young players and play a role in identifying, recruiting and tracking players for the national teams;
You will work with the Coaching Department and coaches from other national youth teams to identify high potential talents for the national team, to create a pathway to support these players through the national teams; As Head Coach of the Futures National Teams you will sometimes work for other teams as Head Coach or Assistant.


DO YOU RECOGNIZE YOURSELF IN THIS PROFILE?

You have a UEFA-A diploma;
You have experience in coaching elite professional youth teams and/or national youth teams;
You are focused on development and have experience in training and promoting young players;
You are an excellent communicator who is able to use technology effectively;
You have knowledge of multidisciplinary work in high-quality environments;
You are passionate about player development and enjoy working with all disciplines to support the individual.


Your language skills

You speak fluent Dutch or French and have a very good knowledge of the other national language. Being able to express yourself well in English is also a plus.

You are a good communicator and are able to connect with all stakeholders;
You work in a structured manner and continue to function effectively under pressure;
You are able to find a balance between long-term player development and achieving short-term sporting goals;
You have interpersonal skills and are able to connect with individuals;
You have a positive attitude and think in terms of solutions;

You are flexible, both in terms of content and availability;
You take responsibility.
