Role description

1.     The Department
 
We have an exciting opportunity for a Motion Graphics Designer / Editor to join our Digital, Media and Content Team. The post holder will work within a dynamic and fast paced video team, delivering outstanding motion graphics and video content.
 
2.     The Role
You will be responsible for creating high quality content including Motion Graphics as well as filming and editing video content in and around a football environment which may include action footage, player and manager interviews, press conferences, shows, features and matchday activities.
 
Once filmed, you will then be responsible for producing and editing raw material into a finished product suitable for broadcast across all of Aston Villa’s video platforms and social channels which may include grading/colouring footage, editing audio and creating graphical elements.

3.     The Person
 
The successful candidate must demonstrable experience in a similar role with extensive knowledge of using Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically in After Effects, Premiere Pro and Photoshop.  You will need to be highly proficient in the use of video camera equipment and be able to work as a one-person shoot when needed. You will be able to work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining high standards with a keen eye for detail.
 
A full, UK driving licence with access to your own car is essential and you must be available to work flexibly as this role will require you to work matchdays, evenings and weekends.
