About the Role.
The main focus of this role is to lead the delivery of children’s & young people’s mental health projects in collaboration with the South West Shropshire Primary Care Network, in local primary, secondary and further education settings.
Working as part of our Health & Wellbeing team, the post holder will deliver high quality health & wellbeing coaching providing early intervention and prevention services for children & young people with the aim of increasing resilience giving pupils the necessary tools to thrive.
Using a flexible approach, the Mental Health Coach will provide early interventions; providing education on coping strategies and self-management with the end goal to reduce the demand on local NHS services and waiting lists.
Full Time – 37.5 Hours per week, permanent
Salary: £25,000 per annum
Flexible between the hours of 8.00am – 6.00pm Monday to Friday with core hours between 9.00am – 4.00pm.
*Flexibility is essential as some weekends and evening work may be required.
